RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A THREE-WAY GATED
WATER MANIFOLD APPLIANCE FROM CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES
WHEREAS, CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES, hereinafter
referred to as CMS, has donated a three-way gated water manifold
appliance to the Hawaii County Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, the value of this donation is NINE HUNDRED FIFTEEN
AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($915.00); and
WHEREAS, acceptance of this three-way gated water manifold
appliance will increase the firefighting ability of the Hawaii
County Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County
Charter, provides that the Council, on behalf of the County, may
accept gifts of donations of money, securities or other personal
property or of real estate or any interest in real estate;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII, in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the
Hawaii County Charter, the County of Hawaii is authorized to
accept the donation of a three-way gated water manifold appliance
from Construction Management Services.

A copy of this resolution shall be forwarded to the
Department of Finance, Accounts Division, and to the Hawaii County
Fire Department.
