<br />... - .- <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII <br /> <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO.~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING SALARY ORDINANCE 96-64, BY ADDING A POSITION OF <br />DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF FINANCE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Article III, Section 3-13, Hawaii County Charter, provides for <br /> <br />interim amendments to the Salary Ordinance be made by resolution; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Article V, Section 5-1.3.(c), Hawaii County Charter, authorizes <br /> <br />the mayor to "Create positions, including position of deputy or assistant to each <br /> <br />head of an agency...for which appropriations have been made by the <br /> <br />council..."; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this position would be funded by the department's salaries and <br /> <br />wages account; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Article V, Section 5-3.3.(1), Hawaii County Charter, provides for <br /> <br />the appointment of a deputy director of finance; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF <br /> <br />HAWAII that Ordinance No. 96-64 is hereby amended for the following <br /> <br />department: <br /> <br />Section 8.04 DEP ARTMENT OF FINANCE. <br /> <br />Director of Finance <br /> <br />A-18 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />Deputy Director of Finance <br /> <br />A-17 <br /> <br />Materials underscored are to be added. <br />
