RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF AN IBM SERIES III,
MODEL 60, COPYING MACHINE, SERIAL NO. 10105234, FROM HAWAIIAN
DREDGING CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
WHEREAS, HAWAIIAN DREDGING CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, has
donated an IBM Series III; Model 60, copying machine to the Hawaii County Fire
Department; and
WHEREAS, the value of this donation is TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED
AND NOI100 DOLLARS ($2500); and
WHEREAS, the Hawaii County Fire Department desires to locate this copier in
the Kona Fire Prevention office for use by its Kona personnel; and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, provides
that the Council, on behalf of the County, may accept gifts of donations of money,
securities or other personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
COUNTY OF HAWAII, that in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 ofthe
Hawaii County Charter, the County of Hawaii is authorized to accept the donation of an
IBM Series III, Model 60, copying machine, Serial No. 10105234, from Hawaiian
Dredging Construction Company.

BE IT FURTHER RESOL YED, that a copy of this resolution shall be forwarded
to the Department of Finance, Accounts Division, and to the Hawaii County Fire
Department.
