Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 174, reports as follows:
Bill No. 174 transmitted jointly with Resolution No. 200, by Finance Director Harry Takahashi,
dated, November 19, 1997, via Communication No. 611, amends Ordinance 97-83, as amended,
the Operating Budget ending June 30, 1998.
The amendment is as follows:

3302.06 Federal Grant -Motor Challenge Program Sewer $9,500
TO
030-631-5631.32-115 Motor Challenge Program Sewer $9,500
These funds will be used to hire a consultant to evaluate energy efficiency measures for the
facilities of the Hawaii County Wastewater Division, Department of Public Works.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 174 and
recommends it pass first reading.
