RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION INCREASING TIME ELEMENT OF RECREATION TECHNICIAN II 2/5T
FOR SKEET AND TRAP RANGE.
WHEREAS, the Skeet and Trap Range is presently open to the
public for eight (8) hours each on Saturdays and Sundays; and
WHEREAS, by changing the time element of Position No. 2834,
Recreation Technician II 2/5T (16-hours) to Recreation Technician II
1/2T (20-hours), the Skeet Range can open on Wednesdays to
accommodate the general public who, work on weekends an opportunity
to participate in the recreational activity during the week days; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in the regular salaries and wages
account of the Department of Parks & Recreation, Recreation
Division, to cover the cost of the additional time element.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII that Position No. 2834, Recreation Technician II 2/5T, SR II,
be changed to Recreation Technician II 1/2T.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that funds are available in the Parks &
Recreation, Recreation Division's Regular Salaries and Wages account.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be
transmitted to the Departments of Parks & Recreation, Finance and
Civil Service.
