<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />P* <br /> <br />COUNTY OF HAWAII <br /> <br />STATE OF HAWAII <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />88 ~7 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL YEAR AND <br />OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR AN ORGANIZATION TO DEVELOP AND ADMINISTER <br />THE HOUSING PRESERVATION GRANT PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) is <br />in the process of Requesting for Proposals (RFP) for an organization to <br />develop and administer the Housing Preservation Grant (HPG) Program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is essential for the program that the organization that <br />is selected understands the rules and regulations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the County that the <br />organization enter into a multi-year contract; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Article X, Section 10-11, of the Hawai'i County Charter <br />requires that any contract, lease or other obligation requiring payment of <br />funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year or of more than one <br />fiscal year shall be made or approved by resolution. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF <br />HAWAI'I, that in accordance with Article X, Section 10-11, of the Hawai'i <br />County Charter, the Mayor of the County of Hawai'i or his authorized <br />representative is authorized to execute a multi-year contract requiring <br />-the payment of funds of a later fiscal year and of more than one fiscal <br />year. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution be <br />transmitted to the Office of Housing and Community Development. <br /> <br />Dated at Hilo, Hawai'i, <br /> <br />COUNTY COUNCIL <br />County of Hawaii <br />Hilo, Hawaii <br /> <br /> <br />, 1997. <br /> <br />I hereby certify that the foregoing RESOLUTION was by the <br />vote indicated to the right hereof adopted by the COUNCIL of the <br />County of Hawaii on May 20, 1997 <br /> <br /> AYES NOES ABS EX <br />ARAKAKI X <br />CHUNG X <br />LEITHEAD- TODD X <br />RAY X <br />REYNOLDS X <br />SANTANGELO X <br />SMITH X <br />TYLER X <br />YAGONG X <br /> 8 0 1 0 <br /> <br />A ITEST: <br /> <br />~~ <br />COUNTY CLERK CHAIRMAN & PRESIDING OFFICER <br /> <br /> <br />Reference <br /> <br />C-306 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />88 97 <br /> <br />0687h.tlw <br />
