Subject: Request a Presentation by US Army, Col. Howard Killian ""
Resolution 639-08 requested the United States Army to provide regular updates on the topic of
depleted uranium (DU) at the Pohakuloa Training Area (PTA).
By means of this letter, I am requesting 20 minutes on the January 7th Council agenda for a
presentation by US Army, Col. Howard Killian to update the Council on the DU situation at
PTA.
I have duly requested a waiver from the Chair of the Committee on Public Works and
Intergovernmental Relations in order to have this update to the Council in a timely fashion.
