Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 191, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 191, transmitted by Finance Director Harry Takahashi, via Communication
No. 191, dated November 14, 1997, increases the time element of Position No. 3771, Program
Specialist (Elderly) 3/4T to full-time.
This federally funded position is hard-pressed to carry out the many demands including
developing and providing islandwide caregiver support and case management services. By
increasing the time element to full-time, this position can better represent the program.
Funds for the additional time element will be provided by Title III of the Older Americans Act
available in the Area Plan on Aging Miscellaneous Contractual Services Account.
Resolution No. 191 also transfers funds to cover the cost of the additional time element as
follows:
