Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 170, reports as follows:
Bill No. 170, transmitted jointly with Bill No. 169 by Finance Director Harry Takahashi, via
Communication No. 584, dated November 4, 1997, amends Ordinance 97-83, the Operating
Budget, as amended, ending June 30, 1998.
The amendment is as follows:

3305.09 State Grant - Kaulunani Urban Forestry Golf Course $2,700
TO:
090-561-5561.26-341 Hilo Muni Golf Course-Trees Golf Course $2,700
The State of Hawaii has awarded the above mentioned grant for the planting of 10 weeping
bottlebrush trees at the Hilo Municipal Golf Course. Jointly, Bill No. 169 provides for the
planting of trees at the West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 170 and
recommends it pass first reading.
