RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE
OF A DONATION OF A BUS FROM JACK'S TOURS
WHEREAS, Jack's Tours, whose Owner and General Manager is Mr. George Miyashiro
has donated a 1987 National 25 Passenger Coach to the Hawaii Police Department; and
WHEREAS, the appraised value of the donated bus is ten thousand dollars and no cents
($10,000.00); and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter provides that the
Council, on behalf of the County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF
HAWAII that in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter, the
Hawaii Police Department is authorized to accept the donation of the 1987 National 25
Passenger Coach from Jack's Tours.
