Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 169, reports as follows:
Bill No. 169, transmitted jointly with Bill No. 170 by Finance Director Hazry Takahashi, via
Communication No. 584, dated November 4, 1997, amends Ordinance 97-83, the Operating
Budget, as amended, ending June 30, 1998.
The amendment is as follows:

3305.07 State Grant - Kaulunani Urban Forestry General $3,000
TO:
010-505-5505.74-341 W. HI Vets Cem -Trees General $3,000
The State of Hawaii has awarded the above metioned grant for the planting of 16 California
pepper trees at the West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery. Jointly, Bill No. 170 provides for the
planting of trees at the Hilo Municipal Golf Course.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 169 and
recommends it pass first reading.
