RESOLUTIOB AUTIIORIZIBG THE ACCBPTAlTCB OF A DOBATIOB OF TWO HUFfY IROBMAB MOURTAIB
BICYCLES FROM IROBMAlI TRIATBLOB.
WHEREAS, World Triathlon Corporation dba Ironman Triathlon, whose Race Director is
Sharron L. Ackles of 75-127 Lunapule Road, Suite 11, Kailua-Kona, Hawaii 96140-2119, has
donated two Huffy Ironman mountain bicycles to the Hawaii County Police Department; and
WHEREAS, the retail value of the mountain bicycles is one thousand three hundred
dollars ($1,300); and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter provides that the
Council, on behalf of the County, may accept qifts or donations of personal property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that in
accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter, the Hawaii
County Police Department is authorized to accept the donation of two Huffy Ironman
mountain bicycles from Ironman Triathlon.
