COUNTY OF HAWAII', :STATE OF HAWAII
RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF EQUIPMENT FROM CERTIFIED
COATINGS.
WHEREAS, CERTIFIED COATINGS, hereinafter refe~ed to as CC, whose Project Manager is
Robert Ikenbury, has donated a Xerox Model 5337 copier, a Grimmer Schmidt 125 CFM Air
Compressor with a 90 lb. Breaker, and a Honda EM 5000 Generator with a Hilte TE 75 Rotary Hammer,
to the County of Hawaii; and
WHEREAS, the value of the donation is THIRTY THOUSAND AND NOll 00 DOLLARS
($30,000.00); and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, provides that the
Council, on behalf of the County of Hawaii, may accept gifts of donations of money, securities or other
personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL of the County of Hawaii that in
accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, the County of Hawaii is
authorized to accept the donation of the equipment from CC.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a letter of appreciation be sent to CC for their gracious
donation.
A copy of this resolution shall be forwarded to the Department of Finance, Accounts Division,
and to the Department of Public Works, Traffic Division.
