RESOLUTION
NAMING A STREET IN THE COUNTY OF HAW All, STATE OF HA WAIl
WHEREAS, the Council of the County of Hawaii is authorized to adopt street names for
unnam~d roadways in the County of Hawaii pursuant to Section 22-35, Article 2, Chapter 22,
Hawaii County Code; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the County of Hawaii on September 6, 1995, adopted
Resolution 160-95 naming certain unnamed roadways in Sunrise Estates Subdivision,
Kukuau 1 st, South Hilo, Hawaii; and
WHEREAS, two unnamed roadways having been created by Sunrise Estates Subdivision,
Unit I-A, one of which is an extension of Kipuni Street and the other a cul-de-sac intersecting
this extension as shown on the attached map identified as Exhibit A;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawaii,
names the roadways of the Subdivision known as Sunrise Estates Unit I-A, Kukuau 1st, South
Hilo, Hawaii in accordance with the attached map identified as Exhibit A as follows: .
Kipuni Street
Kipuni Place
