I I COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII RESOLUTION NO. 138 97 RESOLUTION INCREASING TIME ELEMENT FOR CLERK-TYPIST WHEREAS, Resolution 57-95 created Position No. 3853, Clerk- Typist 1/2T in the Recreation Division of the Department of Parks & Recreation, to assist the Recreation Administrator with the summer fun program; and WHEREAS, the majority of the clerical duties is being done by the half-time Clerk-Typist; and WHEREAS, with five (5) district supervisors and the summer fun program, it is difficult to maintain the regular output of production with only a half-time clerical worker; and WHEREAS, the summer fun program is a year round program in terms of planning, paperwork, and organization; and WHEREAS, by increasing the time element of the Clerk-Typist 1/2T to full time, the clerical work of the Recreation Division should flow easier and faster; and WHEREAS, funds are available in the Regular Salaries and Wages Account of the Recreation Division. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the time element of Position No. 3853, Clerk- Typist 1/2T, SR-08, be increased to full time. BE IT FURTHER RESO~VED that funds are available in the Regular Salaries & Wages Account of the Recreation Division, Department of Parks & Recreation. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be transmitted to the Departments of Parks & Recreation, Finance and Civil Service. ,.,. . 1997.
