Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 160, reports as follows:
Bill No. 160, transmitted jointly with Resolution No. 176 by Finance Director Harry Takahashi,
via Communication No. 553, dated October 16, 1997, amends Ordinance 97-83, as amended, the
Operating Budget ending June 30, 1998.
The amendment is as follows:

3304.46 State Grants General Fund $1,512
Energy Coordinator
To:
101-161-5161.85-011 Energy Coordinator General Fund $1,512
Regular S&W
These additional funds will cover the current salary of the Energy Coordinator as provided by
the collective bargaining contract.
Jointly, Resolution No. 176 authorizes the Mayor to execute the agreement with the Department
of Business, Economic Development and Tourism for this program.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 160 and
recommends it pass first reading.
