Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 159, reports as follows:
Bill No. 159, transmitted by Finance Director Harry Takahashi, via Communication No. 552,
dated October 16, 1997, amends Ordinance 97-82, as amended, the Capital Budget ending
June 30, 1998, by adding the following project:
PUBLIC WORKS
Kealakehe Sewage Effluent $4,500,000
110-699-5697.62-115
Funds for this project shall be provided from:
General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund, $4,500,000
Fund Balance and/or Other Sources
Funds for this project have lapsed, however, the project is still incomplete. To continue this
project, funds must be reappropriated.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 159 and
recommends it pass first reading.
