Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 153, reports as follows:
Bill No. 153, transmitted jointly with Bill No. 154 by Finance Director Harry Takahashi, via
Communication No. 540, dated October 10, 1997, amends Ordinance No. 97-82, as amended,
the Capital Budget ending June 30, 1998, by adding the following project:
PUBLIC WORKS
Disappearing Sands Sewage Pump Station - SRF $1,000,000

Funds for this project shall be provided from:
State Revolving Funds -SRF $1,000,000
In addition, Bill No. 154 authorizes the issuance of $1M in general obligation bonds for this
project.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 153 and
recommends it pass first reading.
