EXPLANATION (Provide complete explanation)
Funds are budgeted in the Vehicle Registration Equipment Repair & Maintenance account for MVR printer
maintenance. Funds are available due to the non-renewal of printer maintenance for FY 2008-2009. It was more
cost effective to forgo printer maintenance, purchase new printers and have old ones repaired as needed rather
than paying the excessive maintenance fees. The cost of one year's maintenance for seven printers is equivalent
to the cost of purchasing two new ones.
