It is my pleasure to nominate Sidney Fuke of Coun cil District 2 to the Hawai i
County Liquor Commission. Mr. Fuke is a 63-year resident of Hawaii. He is a
self-employed land use planning consultant.
Mr. Fuke's community service includes membership with the Hawaii Health
System Corporation -East Hawaii Region, and Hospice of Hilo. He states that he
is a Democrat. If confirmed, Mr. Fuke will serve a term to end on
December 31, 2013, replacing Ms. Jan Yokoyama, whose term expired on
December 31, 2008.
