SUBJECT: Interviews for the Legislative Auditor Position
Pursuant to Section 92-5(a)(2), Hawaii Revised Statutes, as amended, I would like to
request that the Council hold an executive meeting to consider the hire of an officer or
employee.
The purpose of this executive session is to conduct individual interviews of the top
candidates for the position of Legislative Auditor. Notice is also given that the Council
may deliberate towards a decision and may vote to select an applicant for hire following
executive session.
I humbly request that this process be placed on the February 19, 2009, Council meeting
agenda.
