RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF THE DONATION OF REAL
PROPERTIES FROM THE MOUNTAIN VIEW ROAD MAINTENANCE ASSOCIATION;
TAX MAP KEY NUMBERS (3)1-8-004-110(POR.), 1-8-004-112(POR.) AND
1-8-004-008(POR.).
WHEREAS, the MOUNTAIN VIEW ROAD MAINTENANCE ASSOCIATION is
the owner of real properties in Olaa, District of Puna, Island
and County of Hawaii, specifically Tax Map Key Numbers
(3)1-8-004-110(por.), consisting of approximately 0.671 acre;
1-8-004-112(por.), consisting of approximatley 0.667 acre; and
1-8-004-008(por.), consisting of approximately 1.992 acres; being
more particularly described in Exhibit "A" and delineated on
Exhibit "B" attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, the Mountain View Road Maintenance Association has
graciously donated this property to the County of Hawaii; and
WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii is accepting the roadway
easements in order to widen its right-of-way along South Kopua
Road; and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County
Charter provides that ~he Council, on behalf of the County of
Hawaii, may accept gif~s or donations of real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY
OF HAWAII, that in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of
the Hawaii County Charter, the County of Hawaii accepts the

donation of the real properties identified as Tax Map Key Numbers
(3)1-8-004-110(por.), consisting of a~proximately 0.671 acre;
1-8-004-112(por.), consisting of approximatley 0.667 acre; and
1-8-004-008(por.), consisting of approximately 1.992 acres, from
the Mountain View Road Maintenance Association.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a letter of appreciation be sent
to the Mountain View Road Maintenance Association.
