"b ~ ~ ~ o , z G o s~ Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance adding the Highway Administration Building Extension project for $1,100,000 to this fiscal year's Capital Budget. This project includes the construction of an extension to the existing Highway Maintenance Division office building. This appropriation may be funded 100% by the federal stimulus package or may be funded by general obligation bonds or other sources. The Department of Public Works is requesting to waive the Finance Committee and to have this bill heard at the Council meeting scheduled for March 3, 2009. This project is "shovel ready" and should the stimulus funding be approved, the appropriation must be available.
