Brian J. De Lima is a lifelong resident of Hawaii. He is an attorney at Crudele & De Lima,
Attorneys at Law. From 1990 to 1996, Mr. De Lima was a member and former chair of the Hawaii
County Council, and from 1984 to 1996 he served on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls
Club. Presently he is one of the Directors of the Hilo Yacht Club. Mr. De Lima states that he is a
Democrat. If confirmed, he will serve a term to end on December 31, 2013, replacing Mr. Joel
Cohen, whose term expired on December 31, 2008.
Kenneth M. Rowe is a lifelong resident of Hawaii. Since July 2008, he has been employed by the
State of Hawaii Public Safety Department as a Re-entry Coordinator. For over 21 years prior to
this position, he was employed by the State of Hawaii as a Workforce Development Specialist III.
Mr. Rowe is a member of the Board of Directors of the UH at Manoa Letterwinners. He is also a
sub-committee chair of "Going Home", an assistant director of Keaukaha Aloha Center, and the
BIIF Volleyball Director of Officials. Mr. Rowe states that he is a Democrat. If confirmed, he will
serve a term to end on December 31, 2013, replacing Ms. Joanne Balberde-Kamalii, whose term
expired on December 31, 2008.
