No. 402/Bill No. 116 " <br /> PLACE: Councilroom <br /> <br /> TIME: 10:45 A.M. <br /> Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 1 16, reports as follows: <br /> Bill No. 116, transmitted by Finance Director Harry Takahashi, via Communication No. 402, dated <br /> <br /> July 10, 1997, amends Ordinance No. 97-82, as amended, the Operating Budget ending June 3Q 1998, by <br /> reappropriating lapsed fuel tax funds and establishing the following district appropriations: <br /> DISTRICT AMOUNT <br /> Puna $1 18,465.21 <br /> South Hilo 15,165.71 <br /> <br /> North Hilo 8,410.50 <br /> Hamakua 1,844.48 <br /> <br /> North Kohala 66,552.59 <br /> South Kohala 154,450.53 <br /> <br /> North Kona 262,315.67 <br /> South Kona 48,656.29 <br /> Ka'u -76.293 09 <br /> Total $752,154.07 <br /> This ordinance reappropriates the lapsed 1988-92 fuel tax district appropriations. Because the original amounts <br /> were established by formula and to maintain equity, lapsed district funds will be reappropriated back to their <br /> respective districts.
