Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 1 16, reports as follows:
Bill No. 116, transmitted by Finance Director Harry Takahashi, via Communication No. 402, dated
July 10, 1997, amends Ordinance No. 97-82, as amended, the Operating Budget ending June 3Q 1998, by
reappropriating lapsed fuel tax funds and establishing the following district appropriations:

Total $752,154.07
This ordinance reappropriates the lapsed 1988-92 fuel tax district appropriations. Because the original amounts
were established by formula and to maintain equity, lapsed district funds will be reappropriated back to their
respective districts. Allotments from these district appropriations shall be made to the specific projects listed
on Exhibit A.
Funds for these projects shall be provided from the Fund Balance-Fuel Tax 88-92 Account No. 2271.22 of the
Capital Projects Fund.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 1 16 and recommends it pass
first reading.
