Your Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations, to which was referred
Communication No. 109, regarding Bi112, reports as follows:
Bi1124, transmitted by Director of Public Works, Warren H.W. Lee, via Communication No. 109, dated
January 9, 2009 amends Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 2, Section 24-274.1, Schedule 22.1
(Traffic signal systems), paragraph (c) South Hilo, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 edition, as
amended), by adding the following, to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows:
" {~ Mohouli StreeUKumukoa Street "
There was no testimony from the public on this proposed bill.
Committee Chair Brenda J. Ford relinquished her seat to Council member Dominic Yagong. Vice Chair
Kelly Greenwell was absent and excused for this meeting.
Pursuant to Communication No. 109, this amendment is necessary to update the Hawaii County Code
with the new traffic signal on Mohouli Street/Kumukoa Street.

intent of Bi1125, and recommends it pass first reading.
