Re: Transmittal of Resolution No 768-08, Draft 2
Please find attached Resolution No 768-08, Draft 2. Resolution No. 768, Draft 2, is a
result of amendments contained within Communication No. 124.2, duly approved by the
Council during its meeting on February 19, 2009. The resolution relates to a request to
the Department of Transportation to create a contraflow lane on Highway 130 as an effort
to reduce traffic congestion and increase public safety. The amendments changed the
instances of the term "counterflow", to "contraflow", added two WHEREAS clauses
relating to pubic safety issues, and made other non-substantive changes to the text of
Resolution No. 768-08.
