Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 85, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 85, transmitted by Finance Director Harry Takahashi, via Communication
No. 287, dated April 23, 1997, increases the time element of a Recreation Technician II 2/ST to
1/2T for the Skeet and Trap Range.
Presently, the Skeet and Trap Range is open to the public for eight (8) hours each on Saturdays
and Sundays. By increasing the time element of the Recreation Technician II position, the Skeet
and Trap Range will be able to open on Wednesdays, thus, accommodating the general public
who work on weekends an opportunity to participate in the recreational activity during the week.
There are sufficient funds in the llepartment of Parks and Recreation, Recreation Division's
Regular Salaries and Wages account to cover the cost of the additional time element.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose anti intent of Resolution No. 85 and
recommends its adoption.
