A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, the Kanehoa subdivision's (South Kohala district) volunteer fire fighter
company was established per resolution 490-08; and
WHEREAS, the Fire Department has requested funds to purchase two radios and eight
pagers to help the volunteer firefighters with training and wildfire prevention; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 9 will be appropriated to
the Fire Department to be used towards the purchase of the above equipment; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-CouncilSVC-Contingency Relief $6,500
CREDITED TO:
010.221.5226.02 Fire Department $6,500
Training and Volunteer Fire

BE IT FINALLY 12ESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Fire Chief and the Director of Finance and that the Director of Finance is hereby
authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of this resolution.
