Crawford, dated February 4, 2009, submitting the qualifying applications from nonprofit organizations pursuant to Chapter 2, Article 25, Hawaii County Code, for the Council's review and appropriation of funds for inclusion in the Operating Budget for Fiscal Year 2009-2010. Forty-nine (49) organizations have submitted applications for 77 programs, totaling $3,118,011.32. Attaches a list of organizations, the program titles, and amount requested including one (1) that was ruled ineligible. Postpone Comm. 125 to the HSEDC meeting scheduled for April 21, 2009. Ayes: Committee Members Enriques, Ford, Greenwell, Hoffmann, Ikeda, Onishi, Yoshimoto, and Chair Naeole. Noes: None. Absent: Committee Member Yagong. Comm. 125.1: From Director of Finance Nancy E. Crawford, dated February 5, 2009, reporting receipt of a late nonprofit grant application. An ad-hoc committee was created consisting of Councilmembers Emily Naeole, Chair; J Yoshimoto, Vice Chair; Dennis "Fresh" Onishi, member; and Guy Enriques, member. Ayes: Committee Members Enriques, Ford, Greenwell, Hoffmann, Ikeda, Onishi, Yoshimoto, and Chair Naeole. Noes: None. Absent: Committee Member Yagong.
