the above appointment.
Recommends confirmation of the appointment of Richard Ha to the County of
Hawaii Environmental Commission.
Ayes: Committee Members Enriques, Ford, Hoffmann, Ikeda,
Naeole, Onishi, Yagong, Yoshimoto and Chair Greenwell.
Noes: None.
Absent: None.

Comm. 189: A RESOLUTION ENCOURAGING THE RESPECTIVE COUNTIES OF
(Res. 66-09) HAWAII, MAUI, KAUAI, AND THE CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU,
TO COLLABORATE AND PURSUE A SINGLE SOLID WASTE PROPOSAL
THAT COULD ENABLE THE STATE OF HAWAII TO QUALIFY AND APPLY
FOR FEDERAL FUNDING UNDER ANY AND ALL EXISTING OR PROPOSED
ECONOMIC STIMULUS AND STABILIZATION PACKAGES, INCLUDING,
BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE NEW "FOOD, CONSERVATION AND ENERGY
ACT OF 2008", ALSO KNOWN AS THE 2007 U. S. FARM BILL
From Councilmember Kelly Greenwell, dated March 5, 2009, transmitting the above
resolution.
Recommends adoption of Res. 66-09.
Ayes: Committee Members Enriques, Hoffmann, Ikeda,
Naeole, Onishi, Yoshimoto and Chair Greenwell.
Noes: Committee Members Ford and Yagong.
Absent: None.
