Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 44, reports as follows:
Bill No. 44, transmitted by Finance Director Hazry Takahashi via Communication No. 149 dated
February 5, 1997, amends Ordinance 96-72, as amended, the Operating Budget ending
June 30, 1997.

The Victims of Crime Act grant was budgeted for $115,000.00 in 1996-97. An additional
amount of $42,429.00 has been approved, therefore,Bill No. 44 was introduced to appropriate
these funds.
FC REPORT NO. 50
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 44 and
recommends it pass first reading.
