Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 38, reports as follows:
Bill No. 26, transmitted by Director of Finance Nancy Crawford, via Communication No. 160 dated
February 19, 2009, amends Ordinance No. 08-78, as amended, the Operating Budget, ending June 30,
2009. The amendment is as follows:

Pursuant to Section 46-7, Hawaii Revised Statutes, and Section 13-13(b), Hawaii County Charter, the
Mayor is hereby authorized to apply for, receive and expend the funds for the Prosecuting Attorney's
office for the Mental Health Transformation State Incentive Grant
There was no discussion on this matter.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 38, and recommends it
pass first reading.
