Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 32, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 32, transmitted by Fire Chief Nelson M. Tsuji, via Communication No. 120,
dated January 24, 1997, authorizes the acceptance of a donation from Construction Management
Services.
Construction Management Services has graciously donated athree-way gated water manifold
appliance to the Hawaii County Fire Department, valued at $915.00.
Pursuant to Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, the council, on behalf of
the county, may accept gifts of donations or personal property.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 32,"and
recommends its adoption.
