Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 35, reports as follows:
Bill No. 35, transmitted by Finance Director Harry Takahashi, via Communication No. 92, dated
January 7, 1997, amends Ordinance 96-68, as amended, the Capital Budget ending
June 30, 1997.
The amendment is as follows:
PUBLIC WORKS
Kamehameha Avenue Sewer Rehab $719,784.00
(110-699-5691.07-115)
Funds for this project shall be provided from:
General Obligation Bonds and/or Other Sources $719,784.00
This project, delayed due to changes in technologies for the rehabilitation, has been expanded to
include additional sewer lining, manhole abandonment, and sewer inspection equipment, as well
as to provide sewer service for two bayfront restroom facilities.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 35 and
recommends it pass first reading.
