Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 33, reports as follows:
Bill No. 33, transmitted jointly with Resolution No. 23 by Finance Director Harry Takahashi,
via Communication No. 88, dated January 8, 1997, amends Ordinance 96-72, as amended, the
Operating Budget ending June 30, 1997.
The amendment is as follows:

Laser Speed Measuring

95-96 Misc. Equipment
Funds were necessary to supplement the purchase of four (4) laser speed measuring devices, an
Accidental Investigation Measuring System, and to send a representative from the Police
Department to the Collision Accident Reduction Effort (CARE) Conference.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 33 and
recommends it pass first reading.
