Your Committee on Finance, to which was refen•ed Resolution No. 23, reports as follows:
Resolution No. 23, transmitted jointly with Bill No. 33 by Finance Director Harry Takahashi, via
Communication No. 88, dated January 8, 1997, authorizes a transfer of funds.

Resolution No. 23 enables the Police Department to purchase four (4) laser speed measuring
devices and an Accidental Investigation Measuring System with options (total station).
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Resolution No. 23 and
recommends its adoption.
