Subject: Bill 49 - Land fund Deposits
Aloha County Council,
I am writing to express my concern regarding Bill 49, to suspend deposits to the land fund. We are all aware that
their are challenges in our economy, that have to be dealt with.
However, I am writing to request that you honor the citizen mandate that 2% of our property taxes be set aside to
protect Hawaii's treasured lands. There are other ways to cut the budget & I am asking that you look at other
possibilities, before taking from this precious fund.
Please vote no on Bill 49.
