Please do not support Bill 491!!!!!
Please don't dishonor the 57% of voters who support the 2% property tax towards saving historical lands.
Please don't suspend this in order to generate revenue for the budget.
We must preserve our open space.

This Tuesday, March 17th at 9:45 a.m. is the first hearing on Bill 49 to suspend deposits to the Land
Fund. Testify at the meeting in Kona at the Sheraton, the Waimea council office or in Hilo at the
Council chambers. No waiting they take public testimony first.,
Also, PLEASEI email your council members and the Mayor:
Ask them to honor 57% of voters who voted to save Hawaii Island's treasured places by
setting aside 2% of property taxes per year in 2006. Find other ways to cut the budget.
