It is my pleasure to nominate Carol R. Ignacio of Council District 1 to the Hawai'i
County Police Commission. Ms. Ignacio is a lifelong resident of Hawai'i. Since
1986, she has been employed by the Roman Catholic Church as an Executive
Director.
Ms. Ignacio is presently a board member of the Hawai'i Public Housing Authority,
The Food Basket, Inc., and the State Interagency Council on Homelessness. She
states that she is a democrat. If confirmed, Ms. Ignacio will serve a term to end on
December 31, 2013, replacing Kathleen B. Lassiter whose term expired on
December 31, 2008.
