Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 8, reports as follows:
Bill No. 8, transmitted by Director of Finance Harry Takahashi, via Communication
No. 32, dated December 10, 1996 amends Ordinance 96-72, as amended, the Operating
Budget ending June 30, 1997.
The amendment is as follows:
From:
3202.65 Special Duty Admin. Fees General $6,500.00
To:
010-201-5215.81-021 Special Duty -Overtime S&W General $6,000.00
010-201-5215.81-099 Special Duty -Misc. S&W General 500.00
$6,500.00
Communication No. 32 states the workload for special duty has more than doubled,
necessitating overtime.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 8 and
recommends it pass first reading.
