Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 4, reports as follows:
Bill No. 4, transmitted by Director of Finance Harry Takahashi, via Communication
No. 23, dated December 2, 1996, amends Ordinance No. 96-72, as amended, the
Operating Budget ending June 30, 1997.
The amendment is as follows:

3609.10 Fund Balance from Previous Year Vehicle Disposal $250,000.00
To:
075-641-5641.02-115 Vehicle & Parts Disposal - Vehicle Disposal $250,000.00
Misc. Contractual Services
Funds aze necessary to extend the contract with Hawaii Metals Recycling for removal and
disposal of junked vehicles and waste metals.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 4 and
recommends it pass first reading.
