~:"" . . ., COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII BILL NO. 125 ORDINANCE NO. 97 129 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24 (TRAFFIC SCHEDULE), OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CODE 1983 (1995 EDITION), RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division 5, section 24-280, schedule 28 (No parking at anytime), subsection (c), South Hilo, item (70), of the Hawaii County Code (1995 edition), is amended to read as follows: (70) Kilauea Avenue, [makai]east side, from [Kohola]East Ohea Street to a point five hundred eighty-five feet Hamalma of Aupuni Street. SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 5, section 24-280, schedule 28 (No parking at anytime), subsection (c), South Hilo, item (72), of the Hawaii County Code (1995 edition), is amended to read as follows: (72) Kilauea Avenue, [mauka]west side, from a point two hundred twenty feet south of Barenaba Lane to [Kohola]West Ohea Street. SECTION 3. Chapter 24, article 10, division 5, section 24-281, schedule 29 (Parking prohibited during certain hours on certain streets), subsection (c) South Hilo, of the Hawaii County Code (1995 edition), is amended by deleting the following item: [(12) Kilauea Avenue, both sides, between Ohea Street and Kohola Street from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily, except Sundays and holidays.] SECTION 4. Material to be repealed is bracketed. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the bracketing and underscoring need not be included. SECTION 5. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person or circumstances, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable. -1-
