I am born and raised in Kona and <br /> currently live in North Kona. <br /> <br /> When I first heard about this project several years ago, <br /> <br /> alot of my friends expressed concerns over the ability to <br /> continue doing the many "gathering" activities along the <br /> <br /> shoreline. This was our main concern. We grew up picking opihi, <br /> <br /> catching aama crab, and fishing and diving along this coastline. <br /> <br /> We are pleased to hear that Kaupulehu Developments have <br /> included in their plans a Resource Management Plan to preserve <br /> <br /> our interests along the Coast.
