OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE COUNTY OF HAWAII FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
ENDING JUNE 30, 2009 {appropriates revenues of $24,193 into the Hawaii County
Police Department's Federal Grants - Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner (SAFE)
Training Grant account, to be used to improve the department's ability to respond to
violent crimes against women, primarily sexual assault, violence, physical abuse, and
homicide}

Comm. 193: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE 42, OF THE HAWAII
(Bill 49) COUNTY CODE 1983 (2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO
PUBLIC ACCESS, OPEN SPACE, AND NATURAL RESOURCES
PRESERVATION FUND (suspends the transfer of two percent of real property tax
revenue, including penalties and interest to the Public Access, Open Space, and
Natural Resources Preservation Fund, effective January 1, 2009 for a period of two
fiscal years; and eliminates the minimum transfer amount of $250,000 that is
currently required in the Hawaii County Code)

REQUIREMENTS WITH RESPECT TO OFFICIAL FIDELITY BONDS, AND
REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 08-85 AND ALL AMENDMENTS THERETO, SAID
ORDINANCE TO BE KNOWN AS THE SALARY ORDINANCE OF 2009 (amends
