I am here to represent the <br /> membership of the Hawaii Carpenters Union, Local 745. <br /> <br /> Over the past several years, we have had the pleasure of <br /> sharing ideas with Kaupulehu Development. They have spent <br /> extensive time working with the local community to bring forth a <br /> quality and well planned project. <br /> With community input, they have designated a Coastal Planning <br /> Area of 235 acres to be saved for limited use. This will allow the <br /> proper management and protection of cultural and environmental <br /> resources in this area. <br /> Construction brings balance and economic diversification for <br /> our community.
