My name is James C. Pacopac, representing the Pacific <br /> Resource Partnership, A joint Market Recovery Program of Hawaii's <br /> Unionized Contractors and the Hawaii Carpenters Union. We are support of <br /> Kaupulehu Developments District Classification Change to Project District <br /> Zoning. <br /> <br /> <br /> As you know Hawaii's construction industry has been depressed by the <br /> economic slump. Any and all construction projects are very important to our <br /> industries welfare and recovery. We support the master plan for this <br /> development and anticipate the construction of the multi-family and single <br /> family units, the golf course and clubhouse, the neighborhood commercial <br /> <br /> center, the residents club, and the on-site infrastructure and public access <br /> improvements, to provide the needed construction jobs for our industry. <br /> We have supported this development through it's approval at the LUC and <br /> applaud this developments initiative of incorporating a coastal planning area <br /> for the preservation and management of important and cultural resources. <br /> <br /> <br /> Again we support Kaupulehu Developments request for the Classification <br /> Change and ask for your support and approval.
