RESOLUTION NO. 1.13 09
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO
A DES[GNATEll FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, the 2009 Kamehameha Festival will be held on June 11, 2009 at Coconut
Island from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and
WHEREAS, the Festival will feature entertainment, food and cultural presentations, art
and craft booths and is a alcohol, substance and tobacco free event open to the public; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 4 will be appropriated to
the Department of Parks and Recreation to be used towards the 2009 Kamehameha Festival;
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

OUT AND FROM:
010.101.5101.91 Clerk-Council SVC -Contingency Relief $500
CREDITED TO:
010.500.5517.02 Department of Parks and Recreation $500

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and Director of Finance and that the Director
of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the terms of
this resolution.
