RESOLUTION NO. 11.1. 09
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT
AND FROM THE DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S) AND CREDITING SAME TO A
DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT(S)
WHEREAS, the Kalae Iki baseball clinics have regularly attracted numerous participants
in a tun, family-oriented event around baseball; and
WHEREAS, this year, in addition to the clinics given by baseball clinicians from around
the United States, there will also be a community presentation on "How to Prepare Your Child
for College"; and
WHEREAS, Contingency Relief funds from Council District 9 will be appropriated to
the Department of Parks and Recreation to be used towards funding of lodging for clinicians for
the Kalae Iki baseball clinic from July 17-19, 2009 at the Kailua-Kona Baseball Complex; now,
therefore,
BE [T RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIE OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the
following amount is hereby transferred/appropriated as set forth below:

BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall forward a copy of this
resolution to the Director of Parks and Recreation and the Director of Finance and that the
Director of Finance is hereby authorized to make the necessary transfers in accordance with the
terms of this resolution.
